Dog Tail Marketing and Dog Tail CRM are services of Ian Dolan Consulting LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect through dogtailmarketing.com, Dog Tail CRM and our text messages, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email, phone number, business name, website, and anything you write in a form, email or message to us.
- Dog Tail CRM data: pet care businesses that use Dog Tail CRM enter information about their clients, such as pet parent names, contact details, pet details, vaccination records, bookings and payments. We store and process that information on the business's behalf to run the software.
- Usage information: like most websites, ours uses cookies and analytics tools (such as Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use the site.
How we use information
- To respond to you and deliver the services you request, including audits, marketing services and Dog Tail CRM.
- To send service messages, such as booking confirmations, reminders, receipts and account notices.
- To improve our website and services.
- To meet legal obligations.
Text messaging (SMS)
Dog Tail sends text messages to customers who opt in by entering a mobile number on a Dog Tail booking form next to our text messaging consent statement. You may receive booking confirmations, appointment reminders, receipts, pet report cards and occasional offers when openings are available. Giving a mobile number is optional. - Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@dogtailmarketing.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our services, such as web hosting, email delivery, text message delivery (Twilio) and payment processing, and only as needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our rights and users.
Data retention and security
We keep information as long as we need it to provide our services or as the law requires. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it, though no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing hello@dogtailmarketing.com. If your information was entered into Dog Tail CRM by a pet care business, you can also contact that business directly.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
